Do you enjoy being outside in the winter? Interested in seeing winter through the lens of your camera? The Stratford Area Watershed Improvement Group (SAWIG) is hosting its second, day-long, photography workshop on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 9am-4pm at the Stratford Town Hall.
This classroom and field-based seminar will expand on the information learned at the first workshop, with an emphasis on winter landscapes in the Stratford watershed and editing in Photoshop Elements. Please note that ALL levels are welcome to attend. SAWIG is proud to have Winston Maund, SAWIG vice-president and prominent Island photographer, lead the session.
Course will include the following elements:
– “Cold Weather and Cameras”
– “Choosing Your Theme”
– Field Trip*
– Lunch and Discussion
– Editing in Photoshop Elements
– Demonstration on ways to edit/enhance your favorite masterpiece
– Wrap up and take home of your edited 8×10 photograph

Space is limited to 10 individuals
*Weather permitting, snowshoes will be required for field trip. Feel free to bring your own; extra pairs will also be available. Don’t worry, they are easy to use!
